The Commercial Lines Apprentice CSR at Lupke Rice Insurance is responsible for maintaining solid customer relationships by assisting Account Managers with their daily responsibilities and tasks, with speed and professionalism, through interaction with systems, and fellow employees, while conducting specific service activities.

Responsibilities
  • Support Account Managers to review existing policies, review liability limits and exposures, evaluate replacement costs, and review coverage forms. 
  • Review audits or policies; verify accuracy and communicate corrections or inconsistencies to Account Managers for discussion with clients & carriers. 
  • Field requests for Proofs of Insurance and issue as directed through agency systems, maintaining holder logs and documenting transactions, recording details of inquiries, comments, and actions taken in the agency management system.
  • Collaborate with team members, and participate in formal and informal meetings as needed.
 
Qualifications
  • Hold the insurance license required by your state and have a minimum of one year of commercial lines CSR experience as well as a Bachelor’s Degree or comparable work experience.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of insurance products and usages, coverages, and industry operations to effectively support senior account manager staff.
  • Demonstrate strong customer focus; display strong written and verbal communication skills as well as proficient math and reading skills.
  • Possess a sense of urgency, attention to detail, organization, multi-tasking, and follow-up skills, while working cooperatively with supervision. 
  • Have excellent time management skills with a personal accountability mindset as well as technology and computer proficiency, including agency management systems, and carrier website navigation.
 

Flexible work from home options available.

Compensation: $42,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
